Workshop on Banking and Finance in Emerging Markets

The workshop organizers invite researchers to submit papers covering issues in all areas of banking related to emerging markets.
Possible topics include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
- Financial systems and economic development
- Institutional underpinnings of financial systems
- Financial stability
- Shadow banking
- Banking market structure
Keynote speakers: Steven Ongena (University of Zurich) and Joseph Fan (Chinese University of Hong Kong).
The call for papers was closed on January 10, 2014. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by February 15, 2014.
There is no conference fee.
