K.C. Fung (University of California): The Chinese yuan, international trade and political economy
Abstract
In this talk, I will discuss the various recent aspects of the Chinese Yuan, focusing particularly on the links between the Chinese currency and international trade relations with China's trading partners. Furthermore, I will discuss some political-economic factors in the exchange rate formation.
