Call for papers
Workshop is organized by LaRGE Research Center (University of Strasbourg), Bank of Finland Institute for Economies in Transition (BOFIT), and Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University (New York).

The workshop organizers invite researchers to submit papers covering issues in all areas linking finance and politics. Possible topics include but are not necessarily limited to the following
- Political economy of banking
- Electoral cycles and banks’ behavior
- Political systems and financial crises
- Political connections of firms
- Political uncertainty and financial decisions
- Social capital, values and financial outcomes
- Corruption and finance
Paper submission procedure
Those interested in presenting a paper should submit a copy of their research in Word or pdf format via online submission form. Only complete papers will be considered. There is no conference fee. The deadline for submission is February 29, 2020. The authors of accepted papers will be notified by March 25, 2020.
