The Bank of Finland and the Ministry of Finance of Finland will organise a seminar on Building successful economic transition – Finland's story and future challenges in countries of slowing transition on Monday 2 October 2017 in the Small hall of the University of Helsinki, Fabianinkatu 33, 4th floor.

The keynote speakers include Olli Rehn, Member of the Board of the Bank of Finland, Sir Suma Chakrabarti, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Sergei Guriev, Chief Economist (EBRD). Henrik Normann, President & CEO of the Nordic Investment Bank, will give a commentary in the event. The panel discussion is chaired by Tuomas Saarenheimo, Permanent Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Finance.
