"I worked at BOFIT as visiting researcher twice - in 1998 and 2010. In both cases it was extremely productive for me not only in terms of papers on state-business relations in Russia finished during my stay in Helsinki but also for exchange of ideas and development of new contacts with colleagues. BOFIT has very friendly environment and provides excellent conditions for research activity.
Till now I have warmly memories about Helsinki and hope to come back again in the future. But also I hope to see Laura Solanko and other colleagues from BOFIT in Moscow at HSE. I think such personal contacts between scholars from Russia and Europe are very important in current hard times and BOFIT plays extraordinary role supporting the network of former visiting researchers.
