"I spent eight months at the BOFIT as a visiting researcher in the early 2000s. Research environments a the BOFIT were perfect, and meals and coffee were great. Taking a sauna at a flat I stayed nearby sea was also a wonderful experience in Helsinki. Most importantly, I was able to work with Iikka Korhonen and Jukka Pirtilla for joint research projects, the results of which were subsequently published in journals. It was definitely one of the most productive and happy periods in my life and academic career."
